I'm just wondering what the norm is. I work out twice a week: a 6 mile run one day and a 3 mile run another day. I usually go in the morning and the freezing temps are really discouraging me.
Unfortunately, not as much as I want. I try to walk at least 1/2 hour every day, but the cold and wind make it hard to do that with Ben.
I need a treadmill so I can run through the winter. I need to get rid of this weight.
Wow-that's awesome that you try to get out every day! I am such a slacker about getting out regularly, which is one reason I do 6 miles at a time. That way I know I don't have to go out for another few days .
I work out 5 days a week for about 45 to an hour. I'm training for a half marathon so I run and I also have a personal trainer on Wednesdays. On long run day, the workout is closer to 1.5 hours right now.
I miss running with the stroller now that it's colder. I've been using the treadmill and the track at the gym.
Everyday. I'm a SAHM and I need to get DS out of the house so we go to the gym for at least an hour. DS gets to play with the other kids and I get my workout on. Before my BFP I would do a class. Now I do 35 min on the elliptical and 20 min on the bike each day.

I run 2-4 miles with DS in the jogging stroller several times a week. I try to do light weights at home too. I used to do much more, but my hips/knees are already starting to act up during this pregnancy.
i was doing a 40 minute jillian michaels DVD (no more trouble zones or burn fat boost metabolism) 4-5 days per week. but i did that from august until last week so now i'm tired of it, and intermittently doing the 30 day shred until i can decide what else i want to do. i can't exercise out of the home, so i'm limited.
mat pilates twice a week with one or two stroller walks. The studio I go to offers free childcare for that class and I've been taking it since April. I can't imagine life without it!
Right now I'm doing C25K, so jogging 3 times per week. Today I'm jogging outside by myself, but sometimes I take the baby and when it gets really cold I'll do all my running on the treadmill at work.
I really need to get some weight training in, but it's hard enough to get the 3 - 30 minute workouts in

I haven't had a regular workout schedule since late July. We went on vacation, I hit a really rough patch with PPD right after we got back and then I felt really sick from the pregnancy. Now I start to feel like I overdid it if I just walk up and down the stairs with a basket of laundry most days. Blegh.
Unfortunately, not as much as I want. I try to walk at least 1/2 hour every day, but the cold and wind make it hard to do that with Ben.

I mostly do it because a) Mia LOVES being outside, and b) I feel SO much better after I work out. I despise working out, but I know it'll pay off after.
4-5 days a week for an hour - weights and 1 mile on the treadmill. Walk atleast 4 days a week for about 45 (at work during lunch). I love working out and don't feel right if I don't!
This post makes me sad. I want to work out I just can't seem to find the time since I work full time outside the house and have a 45 min commute when I'm not doing pick up abd drop off and over an 1hr when I am. There just doesn't seem to be a enough time in the day. Lately, H has been working until 8/9 in the evenings so by the time he gets home, the gym is out of my mind. Maybe I should try a video. Do people think they really get a good workout? I've always kinda turned my nose up at them but it's gotta be better than nothing.
I run 3ish miles (3.5 if I don't have the stroller, 2.5 if I have it) 4 -5times a week and take a 90 minute power yoga class once a week. I have two kids, but one is in preschool in the morning so my 19 month old and I run 3 days a week. The yoga class is either at 5:30 am before DH goes to work once a week, or at night after he gets home. We also have a treadmill in our basement, so as it gets colder I'll have to switch from running with my son outside to running after both kids go to bed.
i run every day, with my babies, between 6-12 miles. i am about to start thinking about doing triathlons again, so lately i a have been running a little less and riding my bike on a trainer during naptime.
i also lift weights 2x/week.
running and triathlons are hobbies, i dont really do it to "work out" as much as i do it because i love it.

I walk with my dog and G at least 6 days a week. We do about 2 miles, and I normally jog about a mile, or 1/2 mile of the walk. My dog definitely helps keep me motivated. He whines and pouts around the house if we don't go for our walk.
On the weekends I run 3 miles with Casey, well depending on the weather. During the week I try to workout 3-4 times, usually doing a jillian michaels dvd or taebo. If I'm feeling lazy I'll do a pilates dvd.
Overall I try to do 40 min cardio 2-3 times/week and strength 1-2 times/week.
Never. I used to go to a pilates class twice a week but we moved and there is only one gym here and it doesn't offer daycare.

Ditto! Sounds just like my schedule and commute. I used to be at the gym 2-3 times a week. I've gone exactly twice in the last year. How do people find the time to do this stuff??

I workout when dd goes to bed, but she goes to bed pretty early (6:30pm). And for Nolebride I am an avid dvd workout-er (lol). All you need is a little bit of space and go for it.
Right now its just intermittently on the weekends, usually in the form of a long brisk walk. I used to go all the time before having DS but I work full time, mornings are out since DH leaves at 5 and I have to get DS to DC by myself, and I don't have a long enough lunch break to get anything in. My only other option would be to do evenings but I only get two hours with DS before he goes to bed during the week and I would rather spend the time with him. By the time I am finished with dishes, packing up stuff for the next day and all the other chores after he goes to bed I am just done for the day.
I would like to get a treadmill in our house at some point.
I usually try to stretch and get on the treadmill about 5 days per week for about 25-30 minutes at a shot. I powerwalk... can't run. As long as Jackson goes down for a nap after daycare, I am generally able to accomplish this.
Re: Non-clicky: do you work out, how much, and what?
I don't workout at all.
I used to get in a good 2 or 3 miles with E in the stroller every day when the weather was nice.
Now that it's crappy out ... I don't have the time or the $ for the gym.
Unfortunately, not as much as I want. I try to walk at least 1/2 hour every day, but the cold and wind make it hard to do that with Ben.

I take two long (45mins to 1 1/2 hr) walks a day with DS in the stroller. Does that count?
I used to do yoga, but DS rushes over and tries to pull the mat out from under me.

I work out 4-5 days a week. Lately I've been doing P90X with a co-worker.
But most of the time I do 20-30 minutes of cardio with 15 minutes of weights.
On days I'm in a hurry I'll throw in the 30 day Shred.

I run 3x per week training for a 5K.
I go after Harrison goes to bed. It's cold & dark, but it's the only time I have.
