Indiana Babies

How do you fold...?

Okay, so I've been getting everything read for DS to get here...anytime now. :)

Today, my dad dropped off the new dresser, and I came to a realization...I have NO idea how to fold ANYTHING for this baby!

So, how do I fold:

- Onesie

- Burp cloth

- Hooded towel

- Receiving blanket

Perhaps I'm over-thinking it, which I probably am, it's just that no matter how I fold any of these things, they look weird or don't stack right!

Ahhhhhh! Help!

TIA! :)

Re: How do you fold...?

  • I think onesies I folded in half or thirds as she got bigger.

Burp cloths, like the Gerber cloth diapers, I did thirds then in half.

The other two I think I just kind of winged it...

  • - Onesie

I fold in half longways(Sleeve to sleeve), then in half the other way.

    - Burp cloth

I fold in half, then in thirds, tucking the sides in under the puffy middle section.

    - Hooded towel

Fold in half, then in quarters, to form a long rectangle, then stack opposite ways to balance out the stack.

    - Receiving blanket

    In half, then in quarters.

  • Onesie - fold in hal

Burp cloth - fold in half length-wise, then I rolled them

hooded towel - folded the hood down then like a regular towel

receiving blanket - kept folding in half until I had approx 4'x4' square.

After they outgrew 3M clothes, I just decided to hang the onesies up so I didn't have to fold them.  Plus, I liked seeing all their shirts in the closet like a 'real' person :-)
