When we arrived, RE came in pretty quickly. PGD report came in about an hour before. Out of 11 tested, only 1 came back "normal." I can't say I wasn't disappointed at first....however my worst fear was having nothing to transfer so for this little one, I am so thankful. (We weren't too surprised as we had been told 80-90% would be "unbalanced." Unfortunately, we fell on the 90%.) The embryo quality was also below average but the 3 times our little one had been checked in the hour leading up to my transfer, both RE and embryologist said it was improving constantly. I know poor embies can go on to make healthy babies....I just have to stay positive and keep repeating this to myself over the next week. My beta is Nov. 16th....which happens to be my due date for my first IVF. I'm hoping and praying that this is a good sign and will make that day a bittersweet one instead of a really bad one.
Thanks again for all the T&Ps and continued support! You ladies rock!
I'm off to rest now. Happy Sunday!
Re: Back from ET - one fighter on board!
