PP Bleeding

I stood up after rocking DS and felt a gush of blood that soaked my pad. After that I passed a blood clot larger than a grape but smaller than a golf ball. Its been 9 days since Ive had him and I thought the heavy bleeding should be over. I havent bled anymore since then. Is this normal? Should I call the hospital?

    I would call. I was told anything bigger than a quarter to call. I had a c section and they sucked out most of the blood and still spotted for three weeks. Good luck.

    It can't hurt to call. I ended up back in the hospital with PP bleeding. It seems a little late to still be passing clots that large. My OB office told me to go to the ER if I soaked through a pad faster than an hour. I hope it's nothing, but I would call to let them know!
