Good luck to: labbylover03, MrsRumpf, mikeandangie, njohnson1972, lyse2143, Scooterq, amaksym05, & mdluv21. I am praying for all of you!!
Congrats to: Yellow_Daisy, L&R70707, periwnkl10, Vanessagorc
Big Hugs to: Sarah&royale and everyone else that needs one.
Update: On BCP for IVF2.2. If precheckup goes as planned, I start stims on Sat 11/27. Have never done it, but have been thinking about acupuncture... I think I'm going to call the RE tomorrow and inquire about and maybe call some acu places for prices.
QOTD: That's a tough one. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's replies for some ideas. I'm not good at keeping myself sane. If I'm not currently stimming or in the 2ww, I love my back massager, heating pad, and a drink. I also treat myself to Starbucks once or twice a week. If I'm stimming or in the 2ww, I avoid all those things.

Update: Night #3 of stims. First follie check is saturday.
QOTW: When I am down, I like to just be alone with my thoughts and fears. It doesn't ever make me feel better to hear "it will happen" or anything like that. I just need to be sad and then pull myself out of it when I am ready.
Good luck to: labbylover03 (ET 11/7) MrsRumpf (ultrasound!! 11/5) mikeandangie (ER 11/5) njohnson1972 (ET 11/6) lyse2143 (Beta 11/8) Scooterq (Beta 11/9) amaksym05 (Beta 11/9) mdluv21 (Beta 11/9)

Update: I finally passed a suppression check (it only took 3 months!) and will be starting stims on Saturday! I am so freaking excited to get started!
QOTD: Hmm.. That's a tough question. I usually just try to distract myself. Read a book, golf, go to a movie, etc. It's a temporary fix
Update: Just waiting ( impatiently) for my beta.
QOTW: I did acupuncture this cycle and though I am not 100% convinced it works, it did force me to spend some time in quiet and just focus on breathing and it would help calm me down.
I joined my local resolve group and the ladies there are wonderful and have helped me tremendously.
Other than that, I am an avid reader and I love losing myself in a book. My furbabies are great distractions too.
GL to everyone and big hugs for anyone who needs them!

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
Good luck to those stimming/ waiting for ERs, ETs, betas, etc!
Update: On stims!
QOTD: I don't have anything special other than lots of prayer.
I find my blog to be a helpful place to vent, process, and receive support. I also think it's healthy to distract myself sometimes so I don't get too depressed or obsessed, so I've been reading a lot.
My blog: Making Me Mom
QOTD: running, writing, alone time with my dog, and friends to help me smile.
Update: waiting to start lupron mid-december for my FET cycle!
Update: Still on Estrogen - next appointment is on the 11th and the earliest transfer will be is the 16th.
QOTD: I try to keep busy - spend time with friends, find things to do around the house or for others, planning vacations or dinners or parties - anything that takes up my time. DH gets mad because he thinks that since I'm so busy and get exhausted, it's not good - but sometimes if I don't wrap myself into these stupid tasks - I'll go crazy and be so depressed.
Hugs to everyone! Can't wait for the onslaught of BFP's next week - November is going to be a great month too!
Thank you IVF for our little miracles!!
Good luck labbylover03, MrsRumpf, mikeandangie, njohnson1972 (so excited that you get to do a 5dt), lyse2143, Scooterq, amaksym05, mdluv21
Congratulations Yellow_Daisy, L&R70707, periwnkl10, and Vanessagorc!!
((BIG HUGS)) Sarah&royale
Update: Still on estrace. I start Provera tomorrow night and go in next week to make sure cysts are gone. I'm still projected to start Ganirelix on 11/20 and stims on 11/22. I can't wait!
QOTD: Sometimes I am not sure how I stay sane, except that MH is always there for me. After my failed IVF #1, I started accupuncture. It has been really relaxing. Without it, I would be insane right now because work has been crazy! I used to run, workout and read when I was stressed. But, lack of time (mostly due to work) has made these activities nearly impossible.
((BIG HUGS)) Sarah&royale
~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~

I am going in for (fingers crossed) my last u/s and blood work of the cycle before they tell me I can trigger. I am praying this works out! It has been quite the rollercoaster. I am prepared to go through it though because it is worth it!
Question of the day: What do you do to keep yourself sane through your IF struggles? When you?re having a bad day, what helps you cope?
When I am having a bad day I just try to make it through, I work with kids (teacher in the house!) so it sometimes is a struggle, but they make me laugh. If I have a particularly bad day I like to come home, get a big hug from the hubby and then have him take me to one of my favorite places to eat. I love Jason's Deli's free ice cream so that's usually what I do. I also like to go to the pet store to unwind and look at the animals and pet the puppies and bunnies, that usually makes me feel better and gets my mind off the crap. I might also light a candle and try to relax with a book.
Lots of love ladies, it's Friday!
FSH (16) AMH (.61) AFC (9)

IVF #1 11/10 brought us DS Stimming for IVF #2 begin 11/5/11 AFC (7) =( Protocol: Lurpon flare (2 days) + Lupron 10ml/Menopur 4 vials (AM) Lupron 10ml/300IU Gonal-F PM (converted to IUI) failed IVF 2.1 1/12 BFP!
Hope You don't mind if I join your group?!?
Missed our last IUI attempt yesterday. One day the follies were there, the next they are not. Going to IVF orientation today, and we will start the week before Thanksgiving.
Congrats to all the BFP! It's amazing.
To get me through the struggles I talk about it...ALOT. For some reason I feel better knowing that people are there to support me. I also prepare for it not to work out by talking about buying a beach house or quitting out jobs and moving to hawaii...(it's all talk) then it doesn't feel so sad.
Question of the day: What do you do to keep yourself sane through your IF struggles? When you?re having a bad day, what helps you cope?
Definitely laughing with my husband helps! I try to keep distracted by looking for things to buy for our house and treating myself to getting my hair done. Probably not the smartest thing since all of our treatments are OOP...we still gotta live life, right??
I am going in for an MRI today to check my pituitary. Everything else has turned out normal with the endocrinologist. Kind of weird that in a way, I hope there is something there so we can fix it and we can get pregnant and have a baby!!

And I second the thanks to k-mart for doing such a great job with the check in.
Update: I'm awaiting PGD results - the lab told me they'd be in yesterday so I am calling my RE's office this morning - otherwise I fear they won't call me until Monday. If the one embie we have left is genetically normal we'll move forward with the FET. If not - we'll probably move on to DE.
QOTD: Good and timely question - I don't think I am dealing with it very well. On top of the IF stress we are under major financial stress trying to pay for all of this OOP and have cut out every single extra thing in our budget. DH agreed to have a serious talk with me about it this weekend - I need to do some fun stuff to blow off some steam.
GL to all and big hugs to everyone who needs them.
I am finally going in today for my baseline (since AF showed yesterday), and should start stims tonight.
QOTD: Some days are better than others and honestly as hard as all of our waiting and delays have been for this aging type-A, I can see now how valuable they have been in keeping some perspective. In the last two mos. we've lost my FIL and had my sister and g-ma dx w/cancer, had my own health scare while on vacation and separately my first mammogram, etc., etc. Sometimes you just have to buckle up and ride it out and know that you are controlling what you can. It's cliche, but it's only when everything you know is completely upended that you find out what you are really made of. We will survive this, but obviously I hope our journey to conception is nearly complete.

Update: We have decided to wait till after the holidays to do a FET. I don't want to wait, but know it's the best decision.
QOTD: It depends on the day. Sometimes I cry it out. Some days I write (on my blog or just for myself). Running. Just handing with DH. ANd when all else fails... retail therapy almost always saves the day
Good luck to everyone cycling and congrats to all the bfps!!!
(((hugs))) to everyone in need

Update: Cycle cancelled.
QOTD: In the past it was Netflix, SVU re-runs, and inventing home improvement ideas to do to the house. Yesterday when my cycle was cancelled I signed up for drum lessons. I feel the need to hit things.

Update: WTF is a week from today. Because of the labs being closed at Christmas time and our trip over Christmas, I'm really afraid we're not going to be able to cycle again for a while.
QOTD: Like other PPs, have said, this is a tough one. I try to live my life normally and not have it centered around IF. I'm taking a photography class, we're going to Mexico over Christmas, etc. But, this doesn't really make up for the fact that I'm not pregnant.
GL, hugs & love to all of you!
Update: IVF #1 began today with my first injection of Lupron & first dose of dexa. I'm hopeful, yet guarded.
QOTD: To stay sane, I usually prefer to drink but that's not really my best option.
Blogging, being on this board, talking to others that understand, & doing mindless stuff like silly movies, TV, etc.
After 5.5 years of loss, heartbreak, and empty arms, our dreams were fulfilled through the beautiful, selfless gift of adoption. We are amazingly blessed!

Update on me: ET tomorrow!!
QOTD: I read a lot. I like to get lost in books, it helps take my mind off of cycling.
Best of luck to all the ladies with important dates coming up shortly!
Hugs to all that need them.
Update: starting Lupron tomorrow night and am taking my last BCP on Tuesday. Then it is just a waiting game for AF to arrive. I hope she doesn't take her sweet a** time because we have to start stims by 11/20 due to our clininc shutting down in December.
QOTD: a really tough one that I don't have an answer for. DH and I have been fighting a lot lately about stupid little things and I think it has to do with stress and hormones being out of whack. I need to find some to get back to us.
IVF#3 brought us our miracle baby girl on June 26, 2012

Update: Thanks for adding me this week! I will start stims on Wed 11/10 for IVF #1. The rest of my meds will be delivered today.
QOTD: When I am not cycling, I will enjoy a nice dinner or lunch with wine or beer. When I am cycling, I try to read a lot and my DH has a fantastic sense of humor, so that always helps.

Question of the day: What do you do to keep yourself sane through your IF struggles? When you?re having a bad day, what helps you cope? Try to remind myself, one day at a time. At the end of the day, there's a new one to get a fresh start. And, eye on the prize!
Update: 2nd u/s and b/w this morning. Had 11 follicles on the right and 5 on the left (all over 10), and have about 10 more that were just under that mark. 3rd b/w and u/s on Sunday morning, with ER estimated for Tuesday/Wednesday next week. Getting excited!!
Wow! GL to all those cycling now and/or who are waiting on their betas! Yay to all the recent BFPs!!! That's awesome! Hugs to anyone who needs them.
Question of the day: What do you do to keep yourself sane through your IF struggles? When you?re having a bad day, what helps you cope? I enjoy reading (it's kind of an escape for me) and I've also been known to do some retail therapy.
Update on me: We are moving onto DE and have chosen a donor! We are waiting to coordinate everything with our donor so that we can start our cycle! Hope to be cycling by the end of Dec or so.
Hey all.
No longer a October BFP.
It was another ectopic. Ugh. Beta is already down to 54 BEFORE the methorexate.
I don't know what we will do now-- forced break and then most likely remove the connection from tubes to ute. Then fet?
The Conception Craze
1/2009- TTTC
After 7 rounds of clomid and HcG, Three failed IUI's with an ectopic pregnancy, two shots of methotrextate, ER visits, breaks, low (3%) morphology One IVF cycle (lupron, gonal-F) that ended in another ectopic, more methotrexate, A Lap to disconnect both tubes, remove endo and a hydrosalphinx, . . .we are finally expecting TWINS from FET#1!
1.11. 2011: Beginning FET cycle!
3.11.11- FET! (DH's birthday!) 2 blasts transfered!
3.20.11- BETA #1 BFP!!! 272! (9dp5dt)
3.23.11- BETA #2 1346!!! (12dp5dt)
4.8.11- U/S #1. . TWINS!!! . . .TWO BOYS!
9.10.11-My beautiful Boys arrive unexpectedly at 28 weeks, 6 days.
So for some reason I forgot to post a response this week. I'll blame it on the meds lol
Good luck to all those with ER, ET, betas, other procedures, tests, etc.
A big congrats to the recent BFP and big hugs to all that need them.
QOTD: This is so hard. And it sometimes varies. But some of the usuals are exercise, reading, spending time to good friends and spending time with DH, watching a good movie or some of my fav. tv shows, mani/pedis.
Update: Beta is Tues. 11/9. HPT have been negative this weekend so my hope is fading, but I'm trying to hang onto a glimmer of hope.
