Swollen nut?

Dh said one of his nuts is the size of a peach and hurts and feels like there is fluid or something that's not usually there. One is usually quite a bit bigger than the other but something isn't right right now. He's going to the doc tuesday for a physical. He thinks maybe hernia or hydrocele based on what he's found online. Just wondering if this happened to any of your dhs and what it was and what the treatment was? Tia

    I had to lol at the title of your post, but in all seriousness, if its swollen and hurting him, he should be seen sooner than Tues. I would think this would warrant an ER visit. Swollen nuts should not be taken lightly! (I am in ER nurse... we get swollen nuts a lot and there are a wide variety of causes, some very serious) GL to him

    I'm laughing at the title too, but I agree with the pp, I would go to ER to get it checked out.  I'm a nurse as well and swollen nutsacs are no laughing matter!  GL!

    Now he's shown it to meand it's not the actual testicle thats swollen, theres fluid or something above it making the whole sac look bigger. And he says it doesn't hurt it's just uncomfortable.
