Holiday-related things to do with dd and aunts/us?

We aren't going to exchange Christmas gifts this year with my sisters. Instead we are trying to think of something that they could do with us and DD (who is just over 1.)

I was trying to think of some fun ideas. So far we came up with possibly making cookies (although this won't hold dd's attention very long!), looking at Christmas lights, and making a trip to the mall together to see Santa.

Any other ideas for fun things to do with family members?

Thanks -- forgot to mention - I really want to figure some things out because one of my sisters will most likely be moving in the near future. I want to make sure we do some fun things together before her big move happens.

That's a great idea! I love the idea of going to see Santa together. Maybe see if you can all get a group picture with Santa

You could also make ornaments, play in the snow (I dont know if it snows where you live), see if there is a breakfast with Santa near you and go to that...

Maybe find a place that has Christmas activites such as a zoo or museum. DH and I went to the zoo for Halloween and now plan on going every year. You all could do something like that. Even if it is spending the time together and making cookies. She may not be all that interested now, but as she gets older she will and will look forward to it. All my aunts got together to make tamales every year. While I was younger I didn't help but I always looked forward to it and now I help my mom.
