My third graders recently started learning about measurement, and today we were working on measuring to the nearst whole and half inch/centimeter. When we were reviewing the abbreviations for each I couldn't help but chuckle to myself when they told me what the abbreviation was for centimeters. I will never look at the abbreviation cm the same after entering the trying to conceive venture.
