I went today for an ultrasound and to meet the high risk doctor incase my odd shaped uterus became a problem down the road...started with an ultrasound-no heartbeat and baby seems to have measured at 8wks and 3 days ( I would have been 11 weeks this Sunday)
So now I need to have a D&C which they can't do till Wednesday and I just feel heartbroken, my husband has been great. This is our first pregnancy...it seems easier to write it hear then call the few people we had told. My heart hurts.

TTC #1 Sept 2007. Dx PCOS w/ IR, no ovulation, 6 cycles of Clomid failed. First cycle of Femara gave us our first miracle in May 2011
TTC #2. 10+ cycles of Femara w/ TI, Femara w/ IUI, Starting IVF #1 in January 2015

3 Clomid (100mg) cycles + TI + Trigger = BFN's, Femara + Trigger + IUI#1 = BFN
Femara + Trigger + IUI#2 = BFP!

I am so terribly sorry.
My heart hurts for you--I am so very sorry for your loss. This is a very hard time and I would encourage you to reach out to people when you feel ready, whether it be on the PL/MC board or friends/family, so you don't feel isolated. Remember, that it's nothing that you did and no one should have to lose a baby.
The D&C is actually a very easy procedure. They put you under, you wake up and it's done. I was back at the gym and out doing errands the next day.
One more piece of unsolicited advice (if you don't mind)...if you work, make sure to take some time off, if you can. I went back to work right away and it kind of forces you to cover up your feelings. I ended up dealing with a lot of the feelings weeks/months later because I just "moved on".

I am so sorry! I have a very similar story this past spring, I saw the hb around 8w. Went in for a dr appointment at 12w and there was no hb and the baby had not grown. Worse day of my life.
Take care of yourself. Hug your DH. The mc/pl board is amazing and so it TCCAL when you are ready.
