Success with Perineal Massage?
I'm due in a couple weeks, and I started doing perineal massage a few weeks ago bc my midwife said it would decrease my risk of tearing. Has anyone else had success using perineal massage to prevent tearing? Any other tips to help prevent tearing?

I had success, as far as my perineum not tearing.
My labor went really quickly, however, and I ended up tearing one of my labia in two. That really couldn't have been helped, though.
