G-- da-- insurance companies.
I even typed a 3 page appeal letter; included in the letter was my concern that Kate could acquire RSV in daycare (2 days a week), thru my school aged son bringing germs home from school; and that she was IUGR with respiratory distress syndrome.
They approved my other daughter... same age/birth date...but denied Kate because she is 2 weeks too old for the 3 month old cutoff, Approved Lauren because of her lung disease. (RDS as well)
Why would I drive both babies to the pedi> only to have 1 vaccinated? i'm so sad and mad at the same time.
Re: My IUGR preemie is denied again for Synagis
Are you kidding me, they approved one but not the other. WTH are they thinking. Geez!
I'm crossing my fingers that none of us have to deal with RSV this year or any year for that matter.
Can you appeal again?
Edit to add: And why did you have to write the appeal letter? Your Pedi wouldn't do it for you?
