My little girl will be 3.5 months at Christmas. I'm working on her Christmas list for DH's family. Are there items you guys recommend that came in handy as your babies got bigger? I'm thinking along the lines of feeding items, books, toys, etc. We haven't gotten much past the infant phase yet, so I'm looking for some insider tips. I generally prefer practical stuff that will get used, because we don't have a lot of extra room to store things. Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Working on her Christmas list...what items came in handy 3+ months?
spoons, bowls (feeding things that will get used eventually) we were given one of these: https://www.booninc.com/products/Squirt haven't used it yet, but friends have & they love it. We're also doing some baby led weaning - so if you're doing that, you won't need that much 'stuff'
M loves this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/59517598/fisher-price-happy-apple-1972 it's the Fisher Price Happy Apple. They don't sell it anymore, but you can find it online. ours is from when I was little. He likes to kick it, grab it, etc. It bobbles but doesn't fall over. Look around, I found a ton of varying prices just by googling.
A carrrier would be good to. eg: Ergo or a Mei Tai
hth!
Do you have a sophie? if not I would suggest that. We love ours. They now sell them at BRU so that makes it a little easier to find.
Ditto the Sophie. LO also loved the Born Free Teether.
Sippy cups, travel bowls, bibs are some things we didn't really have.

At 3 months we got DD the 1-2-3 Crawl Along Snail. She loved that thing.
The exersaucer takes up a good amount of space, but she loved being in it for 3 months. She is just now sick of it, she wants to be out and standing and moving.
A play mat. DD used that from 2-7 months.
DD loves anything with lights and sounds...yay.
Get some thick page books. DD is not too interested in sitting and looking at the pictures yet. She wants to rip and eat them.
Tub toys. They keep DD distracted so I can bathe her.
Clothes. We had a ton of clothes for DD up to 6 months, she didn't even get to wear some of them. We are just going into 9 month clothes and after packing up a bunch of the 6 month stuff I realized she doesn't have much.
