Finally Joining a Team

We had our ultrasound yesterday. After waiting for 1hr 15 min for our OB, then another hour for the ultrasound, it felt like an eternity!!!!

Our technician was wonderful and explained everything we were seeing and what measurements she was taking. My husband works with Machining and so is very engineer minded, so he enjoyed having all the measurements and technical stuff explained.

Our little Sprout was dancing all over the place so it was taking forever to get some of the info they needed. At least it made it easy to see all the fingers and toes as they were constantly grabbing at the doppler wand.

I told my husband from the moment we got pregnant it was a girl and I was right. While they did say it could change, she practically sat on the wand and there was NOTHING that suggested anything else between her legs.

We didnt' get the classic profile shot because of the way she was curled up but we got a wonderful picture of her face, close up. It was amazing and I teared up. It's feeling more real now that I can start planning the nursery and buying stuff.
