I really hope Charlotte says something. It drives me insane her not saying anything. I think the guy the psychiatrist is talking to did it. Isn't he the guy she told to calm down last episode?

Yeah, she told him to wait his turn. He just mentioned it to Sheldon. Totally him

I can't wait until next week!!! I really hope Sheldon (is that his name?) figures it out... Charlotte acting like a rape victim and the guy he interviewed admitting he raped someone. Ugh!!! Charlotte just needs to say something to catch him! I could not be Addison. I wouldn't know what to do especially because I'd want to help Charlotte!
I bet she locked her underwear in the drawer. I think Sheldon will piece it all together. Charlotte hasn't realized that he was the guy she yelled at, right? I'm mad at her for not telling. You would think at the very least she wouldn't want it to happen to anyone else. It was an upsetting, but very good episode. I was sitting totally upright in my bed while I watched it.
I'm adding a couple of things after the fact, hope that is okay!
I'm upset that she didn't tell anyone except Addison about the rape. I think that was a bad decision by the writers. Though I do hope that they fix it in the next episode - which I think they might.
Also, that was the most intense rape scene I have ever seen. It literally had me shaking scared. When they turned the light on at the beginning and we first saw her I jumped. They did such a good job with her make-up, it was scary.
Overall, great episode. I was going to give up on this season but they turned it around for me.

i am upset too- i think it doesn't do well to advocate for rape victims- it shows them that its ok at least in the beginning to not say anything because of pride- there is a 72 hour turn over time for rape kits in most states, some states only 24 hours for kids under 13 and most evidence is gone within the first 12-24 hours anyway- without a rape kit- even if she did tell in later episodes- in reality there goes the ability to file charges and a rapist can walk free with a good lawyer- other than that i thought it was good- and the make up was amazing-

I was super late in watching and replying, but overall the episode had me on the edge of my seat. I don't think the writers are trying to show that it's ok to not tell. The police officer told Sheldon "no victim, no crime" so I think they are really trying to tell victims that they HAVE to speak up if they want to see justice served, but many victims don't report their rapes for various reasons.
I think the writers will ultimately play this up in the coming episodes to shed even more light on the importance of reporting sexual assault and the importance of collecting evidence.
I'm probably a little more sensitive b/c I used to volunteer for a rape hotline, but it is really difficult to get victims to report the crime because the line of questioning used by police is somewhat accusatory - did you know the assailant? did you invite them in? where you drinking? things that ultimately make a victim feel like a perpetrator. I hope the message any rape survivors got from the episode is "no victim, no crime" - you have to report it to stop it.
Re: Shall we have a Private Practice post? (SPOILERS)
I hope she doesn't end up with anything because of her rape.
Also, why didn't she tell anyone he took her underwear?
Are we to assume Sheldon is talking to the guy who did it and doesn't know?
WHY IS NO ONE ELSE POSTING!? lol. I know others are watching!
I haven't watched yet (and don't mind spoilers), but wanted to write back since no one was answering you
I will come back once I've watched later!
I don't think he did. I think she locked them in her desk drawer at the beginning. She locked the drawer and put the key in the pot.
