Clomid question and acupuncture

Anyone else not respond to Clomid? I've tried 50mg and 100mg and no follicles....she's going to try me at 150 or 200, but then if I don't respond, I go to a reproductive endrocrinologist....just curious if anyone else had the same problem and what finally worked for you?

 Also, who here has tried acupuncture for fertility (I have PCOS) with success?

    You should be seeing an RE now, not after 200 mg Clomid. You may need to go to Femara or injectibles.

    I did acupuncture for 18 months. I didn't have a successful pregnancy, but it had a lot of general health and stress relief benefits for me.

    I've never been on clomid but I do enjoy going to acupuncture when I can.

    if you didn't respond to 50 or 100mg,of clomid I wouldn't be wasting 2 more cycles on it before seeing an RE.

    Clomid didn't work for me (2 follies, but lining too thin).   I went on injectibles my 2nd treatment cycle.

    Example: One of my friends did six cycles of clomid with her OB/GYN and the dose kept increasing until it was 200mg. Nada. She finally went to an RE. He was like "whoa, you are on way too much clomid" adjusted the dose, and, bam, pregnant that cycle

    well, the 200 mg worked!!! Two great follicles....finally! Instead of having me go through a whole cycle, she put me on 200 mg of Clomid right away after the other dose didn't show any follicles...and it worked! Got the trigger shot and now just have to wait a couple weeks to take a pregnancy test! :)
