1st Trimester

Prenatal Yoga (Philadelphia)

If anyone is in the Philly area, (specifically Center City or South Philly)....

I was told by my OB that I should definitely be doing prenatal yoga.  To be honest, I've never had an interest in yoga, but I'm willing to give it a try.  That being said, I'm totally clueless on the subject or where to go.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

Thanks!

Re: Prenatal Yoga (Philadelphia)

  • I attended my first prenatal yoga this morning... I did a search for prenatal yoga classes in RI on google. Then I checked out the websites for schedules/times/experience and made my decision from there... I really liked the class that I took this morning though. I plan to go weekly from here on out Smile

  • hi! I live in the philadelphia area and there are a lot of yoga places if you google them but if money is an issue at all, I wouldn't  advise going because they are only usually 8 week sessions and they are pretty pricey. I bought Lindsay Brin's "moms into fitness" program and they have a yoga lesson for each trimester and its great!

Yeah, I did look into them and it's a little too pricey for me.  I think I'll stick with my $10/month Planet Fitness membership, LoL.
