I need to schedule my first appt and I want to see a midwife but there are so many to choose from. Does anyone have any recommendations? I was thinking of the Health East care system at Woodwinds hospital.
Try Midwife Mary Kempf at the HE Woodbury Clinic. A girlfriend went to her for both her pregnancies and loved her.
Another option is Dr Kerry Sheehy at the HE Woodbury Clinic. She's a family practice Dr who specializes in OB and pediatrics. The bonus w/a FP is that they can care for you anytime (pregnant or not), cover their own deliveries plus they care for your baby too. It's an awesome way to really get to know your Dr.
Wife to an amazing man and mom to three darling girls!
I have seen Mary Kempf and she is super nice. I have friends that absolutely love her. She isn't my favorite just because I think our 'styles' are a bit different, but I wouldn't hesitate to see her or recommend her.
Really, I have never met a Health East midwife that I didn't like.
Brielle is great, but doesn't always see patients at Woodbury (though she did deliver my DD at Woodwinds)
