Pediatrician supportive of a delayed vaccination schedule

While I do plan to vaccinate my baby, I'm not so sure I feel comfortable with so many vaccines at such an early age. I just found out that our intended pediatrician will not support any deviations from the recommended schedule, and she did not think there were any others in the area that would. Does anyone know of any (preferably northland, but open to others ) that are more open on the subject?

Re: Pediatrician supportive of a delayed vaccination schedule

  • Our pedi is really laid back and was very supportive of a delayed schedule, although in the end we only delayed two or three vaccines. We go to Dr. Slaymaker at Village Pediatrics in Prairie Village. LOVE him. The office is at 72nd/Mission Rd.

  • Dr. Slaymaker is our ped. too and he is great.  They are moving offices at the end of the year to 83rd and Mission.
