RP: Holiday "exchange"

I posted this on TN, but I know not everyone checks over there all the time:

Courtney's post and the Christmas exchange my cousins do inspired me on this. I'm not sure how logistics would pan out but here's my idea... How about we do a "service exchange". Each of us interested could do a service project inspired by one of our "gift receivers" top 3 charities. i.e if I pulled Tammy, I could go walk dogs at the local animal shelter. To do the actual exchange maybe we could do a post, or set up a blog, and share what you learned, enjoyed, add some pics etc. I'd like to do this in addition to our regular exchange, because obviously not everyone will have the time to participate. Anyone interested?

    This is a good idea, but I wouldn't be able to participate since probably most charities wouldn't be an option for me or vice/versa.

    This. I think it is a fabulous idea, but I work full time, getting my masters degree full time and being a full time Mama leaves absolutely no time for me to commit to anything.

    I agree that it is a great idea, but I think that at least 75% of us probably don't have the time.
