Vacation with 7mo old

DH and I are wanting to get away to somewhere warm in January (I will need a break from the snow!). DD will be 7mo old at that point. We have taken DD on a few trips already...but they were more sightseeing vacations where we were on the go all day & she could chill in my wrap. She did great and it was super easy! Nap on the go!

Most of the warm vacations I keep thinking of are more beachy/relaxing vacations and I'm not sure if that will be fun with a new crawler! What do you girls think? We have thought about doing a quick cruise or maybe an all-inclusive somewhere. Would these be a bad idea?

Our other option is to take a quick trip overseas to somewhere like Italy....but we've been before and it will be cold still!! I want sun! :)   What vacation options do you ladies think would be fun with your little ones?

    I think somewhere warm and sunny like the beach would be fine. DS is 7 months and hasn't shown the slightest bit of interest in crawling so is perfectly content to sit and play or still be worn.

    We took DS to the river a few times over the summer. He was really good the whole time and loves being outside. It wasn't as relaxing as it used to be before DS because yes, they cannot crawl or walk yet so I was holding or wearing DS most of the time we were outside.  I did bring his bouncy chair but that only kept him entertained for so long.

    I think a cruise would be fun with DS right now. It would change enough that he would be entertained. I wouldn't plan a day on the beach all day long. DS can't stand sitting still anymore. But, my DS is 9 months so maybe that makes a difference.
