The first set are the worst. The 4 month and 6 month shots were a breeze, she cried for 10 seconds. I feed DD while she gets hers and that keeps her pretty distracted.
DD's 2 month shots were a bad experience for us. The nurse hit a vessel in her thigh and she bled like a stuck pig. Then she had to get 2 more vaccines after they stopped the bleeding and we calmed her down. I think I cried harder than DD, DH even cried he felt so bad.
Yes, that first set is always the worst. Poor things! Amelia didn't even react to her first one, like nothing happened, but lost it with the following two. I felt so horrible. Both girls have always stopped crying as soon as it's over and I can comfort them, so it's a quick pain!
I almost died when I read this post. Your little one is 2 months and you named your daughter Amara! My little girl just had her shots too and her name is Amara too! It is such a rare name. Wow! Do you pronounce it A-mair-ahh or A-mar-ahh. What did you chose as a middle name?

Thanks everyone! She was a trooper! I on the other hand felt my heart break!! No fevers and she slept through the night
