Epidural side effect???

Hi everyone,

I haven't been on the boards in a while.  I had an epidural when I was delivering my daughter (she is our only child).  About a month or 2 after I had her, I started having some kind of spasm in my back and have been having them off and on ever since. Anyone else experiencing this?

    This happened to me for about 2 months afterward. I hope you get some relief soon.

    I had some pretty intense back pain at the site of the epidural for about four months after he was born, but it's faded since.

    What does your doctor say?

    I told my OB and he said that some women experience this after having an epidural.  I plan on seeing my primary care physician in 2 weeks and will discuss this with her.  This sucks!!!!!!

    I have on and off back pain due to the epideral. I have to see a chiropractor and keep pain meds on head in case it gets aggravated.

    I do have what I believe is an epidural side effect, but it doesn't hurt

    it's more like if the spot were I had it fell asleep every once in a while but since it doesn't hurt I haven't even told my doc..
