back on the cpap

She is back on the cpap today. They said that with just the nasal canula she was working to hard to breathe and take deep breaths. Now with the cpap back they said she is a lot more comfortable. Minor setback but it is to be expected with a baby as small as she is.

Re: back on the cpap

  • I am so sorry to hear that.  We just all have to give our little ones the time they need before the next step yet it is so hard on the parents.

    BTW - She is beautiful

Good luck in the days to come and soon enough, she'll be back on the nasal cannula.

  • Sorry about the setback, but I bet she'll be back on the cannula before you know it. Keep strong mama!! She's a beautiful little girl.

  • The setbacks are hard, but she will get there. Jack was back and forth between the cpap and the cannula three different times before it finally stuck. Hang in there. Still sending t&ps for you guys.

  • Sorry about the set back.  They are hard but that is the nicu roller coaster for you.  She will get off the c-pap before you know it.  Hugs

  • Even Cpap at that age is doing really well! I know set backs are hard but it will be better for her in the long run to get more breathing support now if she needs it. She will be back on the cannula soon!
