NBR: I just called DH. There is a possum in our trashcan.

Our trashcan sits by our garage.  I went out to throw the trash away and there is a huge possum in the bottom of the can.  I tipped it over but it won't get out.  It is creeping me out.  I called animal control and left a message.  I called our trash department because I requested a lid(ours flew off in the windstorm last month and this was my third request for a lid).  They said they would bring me a lid by Thursday.  Hopefully it is out by then.  I need to throw the trash away.

    They're nocturnal, he'll probably come out at night.  Just leave it tipped over.

    just keep banging on the trash can until he finally comes out...they are night animals....you are disturbing his sleep so the more you bang the more he will say feck it and move on.  He wont hurt you!
