Hi everyone! I am pregnant and trying to figure out child care options. My husband and I live and work downtown so we have read about a few centers, but I'm eager to hear about in home care options or nanny share optins too.
Does anyone have advice about child care downtown? (more specifically, we live on the border of the gold coast and lincoln park and I work near the water tower and my husband works in the loop.)

Re: Child care if you live and work in the city
One of my friends recommended Northside Parents Network, which I just joined. It is $45 for a one-year membership, but the recommendations and reviews so far have been great. There are even families who put up listings for nanny shares, etc. It's been a good investment for us so far!
