Soo, i'm 28 1/2 weeks along and i KEEP hearing everyone say i look too small for being this far. I need your opinions please! This is my first child, & it might help that i'm 5'11"!
Yes you definitely look small but everyone grows in a different way. As long as baby is healthy, who cares what others say... I know it can get annoying but just try to ignore them!
Well you are definitely smaller than I am! But if you've been going to the doctor and he/she isn't concerned, I wouldn't be either. I have a friend who only looked about 20 weeks when she was 40 weeks along and had a beautiful, healthy baby boy!!!!

You definitely look small, but like pp said, as long as the doctor isn't concerned & LO is healthy, who cares? I know a woman who wore her pre-pg clothes up until the day she delivered - she just had a long torso and wide hips, and the baby never needed much extra room. Her little girl was born perfectly healthy.

You are tiny, but you were tiny to begin with! A long torso and tight abs will keep you from growing as much as someone who has a short torso (like me) or someone with not so tight abs. Just think: little = not much baby weight to lose afterwards! Also, excessive weight can lead to harder labor and/or complications.
Yes, you are unexpectedly small for being 27 weeks. But as long as both you and baby are healthy, that's all that matters. If your OB says you're fine, then you're fine. Honestly, up until about 10 years ago, OBs used to recommend that pregnant women gain no more than 15 pounds, total! Most women pass that mark by week 20 these days. So please don't worrry and don't let other people's remarks get to you.
When I get the "you're too small comments" I usually respond with "Everyone woman is different, every woman's pregnancy is different. This is how I look pregnant." (Emphasis on the "I." -as in, not you, not your mother, not your sister, random rude person...)
You look tiny, but as everyone else said, as long as baby is growing good, no big deal. I wish I had people telling me I was small instead of telling me I look I'm going to pop any minute.
You've got an awesome body! I am told quite frequently how small I look as well, and it is frustrating, but like pp's said, a long torso, wider hips, and many other factors affect the way you carry the baby and so long as the doctor thinks you and baby are healthy there are no worries. Another thing that makes me feel better is that (hopefully) we'll have a much easier time getting our pre-pg look back! You look fantastic!!
To be completely honest, I would be worried about you if I was someone close to you but I am not your Dr. and that's the only opinion that counts. Assuming you are getting proper medical care and they aren't concerned then you shouldn't be either.
I work with a girl that was like you, but around 32 or 34 weeks she popped out. REALLY popped out! Or maybe you'll just be lucky and not have that much to lose afterwards. )
You're def smaller than me.... all around. I wouldn't be concerned though, unless your doc is. I'm a bigger girl (nearly 5'11 myself) and have just really started showing this week (I'm almost 32 weeks). I got my first comment from a stranger about being pregnant and I was thrilled. Lol.
Unless your doc is worried about it, I wouldn't be. Everyone carries different..
My girlfriend is tall and skinny. When she got pregnant I couldn't tell until she was well into her 30+ weeks. Even at 40 weeks she didn't really look all that pregnant. She had a baby girl that was 8lbs!
Yeah, you definitely look small for 28 weeks, but at 5'11" and with a long torso, it makes sense that you won't pop until close to the end. I have a long torso, and it took a while for me to show, but I'm only 5'3". As long as baby is healthy, no need to worry about what everyone else thinks.

Yeah, you're pretty tiny. Your OB should be measuring your fundal height by now. What does he/she say?
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...

You are differently tiny! But like pp said, everyone is different and your body type has a lot to do with it. As long as your doc is happy with your progress, you shouldn't worry about what others say.
Thanks for the responses everyone! I had an Ultrasound done Monday & everything seems to be on track, they said he approx weight is 3 lbs 1oz. Also had my Glucose test yesterday & my Doc has said everything is looking good.
I think it's part of being tall. I get it a lot too and it made me nervous that baby wasn't growing on schedule, but the doctor says he's fine and we're on schedule. I'm only 5'8" so of course the taller you get the more likely this is to be even more so. Try not to take it too personally and/or worry. I know it's hard.
Re: Everyone keeps saying i look too small! PIP
Wow you are tiny but who cares! If your dr has no concerns then no one else should either.
Just think how lucky you are that you will pretty much look like you were never pregnant after you have him!
I'm jealous lol. I have mad stretch marks and a big ol' gut!
Everyone says I look too small, too.

Whoa, you are small. BUT again, everyone is different. Like the PP'ers, if your midwife/MD says the baby is measuring okay, then I wouldn't worry.
me too!!! New stretch mark for each new day! lol
You do look small, but in addition to other comments, you could just be carrying weird right now.
But on the bright side your boobs look fantastic!

I'm still amazed she hide that baby in there!
