Do any socks actually stay on?

I had a pair of socks on Evan the other day that went up to his knees. I figured it would take some time for them to completely wiggle off, but 3 minutes later they were both off.

We have some cute "My first sneakers" socks and they stay on for only a few minutes also.

I need some that will actually stay on since it is getting colder outside.

TIA!

  • the old navy trifolds or the circo trifold ones that have the rubber writing on the bottoms. I gave up on just about any other sock!

  • We only buy Old Navy or Target socks.  I like the Target ones in the spring summer because they are thinner.
  • Walmarts brand Faded Glory are the best about staying in place and on.  Plus they are cheap around $5 a 6/pk.

  • I like the Target socks as well - we use the ankle ones.
  • When ds was a baby, Carter's made a style of socks (bubble cuff or something) that actually stayed on...of course, they don't make them anymore!  :(

  • Man, we could never keep a pair of socks on Hannah.  It never failed, the one on the right foot fell off every time!  But only the right one.  It was the strangest thing.  Shoes too, if they were slip-ons, like Robeez.  I can't tell you how many times I'd look down and her right foot would be bare, and I couldn't find the shoe or sock anywhere.

  • I second the Walmart Faded Glory socks.  We use the white crew socks, they never come off.

  • We are trying the Target socks today. We'll see what happens.
