When does milk supply regulate?

At what point does your milk get to the point where it is an appropriate amount for your LO and your boobs don't feel rock hard and sore all the time? Weeks? Months? My LO is 9 days old.Also, how long should i expect to wear nursing pads?

I'd give it some time - at least a month or 2. I wore pads for 6 months with my first, but I leak big time!

Most regulate between 8-12 weeks. I don't know about the nursing pads because I only needed them a few days.

I just stopped using nursing pads at like 5 months (and even now I sometimes have to put pressure on the non-nursing boob to stop letdown). I think around 3 months is when my boobs stopped feeling rock hard (especially in the mornings). What a relief! Hang in there ...
