Just wondering, DD was a small baby and was born at 38 weeks. Were your babies similar birth weights? and were they born around similar gestational age? I'm sure that it is just random, but I'm curious.

She was a peanut compared to him! and I might add that DS was 2 hours of pushing, a vacuum delivery and i had an episiotomy....and DD was 5 pushes and no tears/cuts at all!
Gotta love the second time around.

DS #1 - diagnosed IUGR (intra-uterine growth retardation) because his head measured in the 98th %ile while his abdomen was in the 4th.
They pulled him before 38 weeks because the risk of mortality rises substantially when they let them go longer than that.
Turns out he was just skinny with a HUGE head.
DS #2 - boringly average. Taken via repeat section at 39 weeks.
Very different weights, gestation, and general body builds.
They're still VERY different physically.
#1 is a bean pole with a giraffe neck and a monster head.
#2 is a chunk-a-monk and on the short side.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
Mine were similar - DS1 was 6 days early at 7 lb 10 oz and DS2 was 12 days early at 7 lb 8 oz. DS2 was measuring a bit bigger and he would have been if he were born at the same time.
my twins were born at 38w1d and were 7lb 15.6oz (so pretty much 8lbs) and 6lb 6oz.... there were no issues with one twin getting more or anything- one was just a lot smaller- and still is (10lbs smaller than his twin now)... so you never know!
