Beta- why is IF bittersweet

so i got the results today..and it's 23..

i have beta #2 on Fri and my doc wants to see it at 50 or double

I'm soo scared it may be a chemical pregnancy...I just want to cry right now....this is so tough not being able to do anything to increase numbers

(can you tell I suffer just a little  w control issues)

I'm not sure what to tell DH

    IUIs 1-3 BFN, lap Dec. 2010, IUIs 4-6 BFN
    IVF w/ICSI #1 - ER 2/8: 24R 19M 9F ET 2/13 2-5 day blasts (no frosties) = BFP - b/g twins!

    Try to keep hope - we have seen ladies with low betas go on to have successful pregnancies. 

    I hope you get a great 2nd beta!  Good luck!
