Finaly some light M/s

Not to offend anyone, but i'm stoked i finaly got fully dry heavy this morning!  i'm 7w0d and haven't had any at all yet and was worried my hormones weren't high enough.  I know not everyone gets m/s, but makes me feel a little better, as much as it sucks.

  • Indifferent Are you serious? While I am ecstatic about being pregnant, M/S blows. I cannot wait until it subsides. All I want to do is eat a meal without gagging. I would also love to drink some water when I'm thirsty. Yes, water makes me sick.

PLENTY of women have perfectly normal, healthy pregnancies without M/S.

  • Oh i know, but as i'm not throwing up at all yet, its just nice to feel a little off.  If my boobs hadn't grown and goten all sensative, and no AF for the past 2 months, i'd never know i was pregnant.  This is just a light reminder that i am.  for now at least.

I'm really sorry for any of you ladies who are sick all the time, i'm sure its really a pain!

  • I kind of felt the same way, the first day. now I'm just wishing I could just enjoy ONE meal without having to force it down and have a little conversation with myself to keep it down!

If your symptoms are mild, enjoy it! (but like I said, being fairly symptom free until about week 7, I know how you feel!)

  • I haven't had any m/s either, but I've definitely had some nausea.  It's been more like a constant feeling of an unpleasantly empty stomach.  I sometimes think it's weird that I haven't had any legimate M/S but I have to remind myself that not everyone does and to be grateful... it doesn't mean anything bad.
  • I agree, I was relieved to get a little sickness too. I had a MC in May so any symptoms are welcome this time! I didn't really have any symptoms until about 7 weeks. Now I feel slightly sick all the time but never vomit. I just have to force food down all the time. I still get a little worried if I have a day that I don't feel too sick, or if I don't feel like my boobs hurt as much anymore or anything like that. Just counting the days to the next DR appt!
  • I just started get a little nausea this week.  I think because I waited too long between meals.

I COMPLETELY understand your sense of relief.  Everyone tells me I'm lucky and should count my blessings that I've had little to no symptoms but because I've waited sooooooo long to get pregnant and it took sooooo much work I actually am relieved when I don't feel well.  Not that I ENJOY feeling sick, but I definitely feel relieved.
