Daycare in Inver Grove/SSP/Cottage Grove area

First time mom here and just starting to look for daycares in my area. I am only 11 weeks pregnant and have time, but want to start exploring our options.

 

Do any of you know any excellent daycares in the Inver Grove, South St. Paul, or Cottage Grove area?? If so, please share names/numbers of daycares. Would prefer in home daycare, but open to centers as well.

    It's hard to find openings for infants so it's good you are starting to look now.   My neighbor does in home daycare in Cottage Grove.  Currently, I don't think she has any openings.

    Also, are you looking for structured day care almost like a pre-school or more of a fun place to be while away from mom?  Some are super structured beyond the basic meals, naps & playtime. Some are pretty relaxed - go with the flow and of course there's always something in between the two.

    Are you looking for a small amount of kids?  A larger group or really small like a stay at home mom with only that family?  Pets?

    Some things to think about if you haven't already.  Good Luck!
