Would I be a bad mom if...

I didn't keep a pregnancy journal with DD, but did with this LO?  I bought one for DD, but never kept it. Maybe that will happen this time around. I  have good intentions, anyway....

  • No, you can't do everything exactly the same with each pregnancy.  I am thinking I won't keep a journal this time, but I did last time.  So if you won't judge me I won't judge you.

  • I didn't keep one for my DD and don't plan on it this time. However, I will say this....my mother kept a journal and all these baby books and trinkets from my sister (who is older) and I have a journal with 1 entry and a baby book that didn't even have my name written in it. It has made me feel kinda' cheated since my sister has all these keepsakes and I don't. So just keep in my you will have to explain it to your kids someday. My mom told  me she was just too busy and was over it. My sister has felt bad about it, but as any big sister does still rubs it in my face. While I was pregnant I filled in my own baby book.
  • I was thinking the exact same thing. I have a pregnancy journal for DD that I have a couple vague entries in and I just ordered the Belly Book for this pregnancy.  I feel a little bad, but I want to at least have clear memories of one!  Last time I feel like I didn't enjoy it enough or really hold on to the important moments and I want to do that this time.
