Oh, what are the chances?

I was on the Nuva ring for the past 3 months.  After the 2nd month I had my period for 2.5 weeks!  So I waited until the 1st Sunday (after AF) and put a new one in.  I took it out after the 3 weeks to have my period.... that was 2.5 weeks ago and I still haven't had it!  What are the chances I am pregnant?  It would have had to happen either between my super long period and putting in the 3rd ring, or after I took the 3rd one out.  RIGHT?!  In my mind the chances are so slim that I really don't think I am but I suppose I should take a test. Indifferent

And what if I got pregnant before putting in the 3rd ring?  Wouldn't that harm the baby?  I did everything I was suppose to do!  Ahhh

    I'd just take a test to calm my nerves.  I bet you aren't pregnant just  messed up somehow.

    I don't know anything really about the Nuva ring so I am no help but GO TEST!!! NOW! And then come back!! :)

     Honestly, there is a chance.  How long did you have the ring out?  You're only supposed to keep it out for a week.  Even if you have AF, you need to put it back in.  The week out is exactly like the week of placebo pills when you're on BCP.

    Ok girl, I will POAS but it will have to be AFTER work.  Last time I did it at work and I was a complete mess the rest of the day!  I am the only one working so I can't leave anyhow.

    Really?!  One week out?!  I guess I missed that in the 1000 page instuction pamphlet. How are you suppose to have that in plus a tampon?  Ugh I hate being a girl sometimes....

    You can take a test to find out, however, I will say that my cycles have been out of control since AF returned a few months ago.  There is no consistency to the cycles yet.  However, I don't know much about the Nuva ring.

    Ring is a really low estrogen form of BC.  After a baby things can get a little screwy.  I think your chances are low b/c it is such a direct form but POAS to put your mind at ease Smile

    That's an issue that I'm having now...I know, you really needed to know that!  It works but you have to reinsert it almost everytime you change the tampon.
