Anyone go here or used to go here? I've been at an RE for the past year, but DH and I are switching and will be seeing Dr. Gary Jones at his CFC office in Clinton Twp. I know one person who has gone here, but looking for other reviews, tips, etc. on the practice as well (anything about the drs, nurses, things I should have a heads up on, etc).
Thanks!
Re: Michigan Comprehensive Fertility Center?
Hi. I treated with Dr. Magyar at MCFC in Clinton Township and I was happy with my experience. I think Dr. M's approach to our course of treatment was proactive. My DH and I met with him initially and then after I underwent numerous tests, I met with again to discuss results and the next steps to take. Each time we met, he had already reviewed my chart/results and was prepared to discuss our options.
Both the nursing and support staff were friendly. I generally tried to schedule my appointments for as early as possible to avoid missing work and I very rarely had to wait long. They do blood draws pretty early in the morning. I found Friday mornings to be the busiest. I also called the office a few times with questions and I always received a return call pretty quickly.
Hope this helps. Best of luck.
Thanks for this post C!! You know I'm heading there in 3 weeks
Thank you for this information! I'll be seeing Dr. Hayes. I'm looking forward to a personalized plan (as opposed to feeling like a lab rat while I was in the research study) and I'm glad to hear that early morning appts are available and that wait times are generally short ... since I start work at 7am in Roseville, I prefer not to use more than 1-2 hours in the morning of leave time.

Thanks everyone. I was told their morning monitoring hours are 7:30-8:30 by the nurse we spoke with. I was hoping they'd start a little earlier since I need to be up in Romeo by 8:15 at the latest (unless I coordinate with someone to cover part of my 1st hour which is doable, just don't want to abuse that...) and my previous RE had monitoring hours from 6:30-7:30. Just hoping for a good overall experience!
Thanks again!

Ah, crap! lol...If I get AF tomorrow, I'll have to go in Friday AM. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that AF comes on Thursday...then my first appt will be on Saturday and I won't have to worry about getting to work! I've felt like AF was going to start since Sunday night though, so I don't know how much longer she'll hold off!

I work in Southfield and also struggled to attend appointments without missing work. I can't recall the exact office hours; unfortunately, I don't think they open before 7:00 a.m., but if you get there early, you should be able to get in and out quickly. I hope you have a good experience with Dr. Hayes.
Best of luck to you and UMichGirl.
Thank you! As long as I get to work by 9am, I can stay until 5:30pm and only use one hour of leave time. (I need to work 9 hours) That'll be perfect!
Funny you mention Southfield, because my prior RE (for the research study) was in Southfield. I had my monitoring appointments between 7-8am, so it worked out okay, but the drive was miserable!!! I don't know how you manage to drive there every day!
