Which hospital?

I am visiting friends in Oahu in a few weeks and I am wondering which hospital would be best for maternity care for me and baby just in case something happens. I lived in Hawaii for school way back but baby thoughts never came up. So thank you so much!

I will be 30 weeks.

    Wow, I can't believe your OB is letting you go that far away! Mine said no traveling at the 30 week mark with my first pregnancy. 

    I would highly suggest Kapiolani Women's and Children's. I worked there for a year in the float pool so I went all over the hospital. They have some amazing doctors as well as nurses. Hopefully you won't have any issues but it's a good thing you are checking just in case!

    If you needed care while here, I would second Kapiolani, since you'd be early and they can better meet the needs of high-risk pregnancies/babies. I delivered at Queen's and chose them over Kapiolani, though, because I had a "normal" pregnancy and preferred the facilities and the slower pace there. Have a great vacation!
