So...Jacks party is Saturday, and up til today the forecast was in the sixties. Now the high is 47, and I want to move it to our back up location. I just think that's too cold to ask grandparents, babies, and just people in general to be outside. Right?
Matt wants to chance it, and i understand the party really wont be the same inside, but I think for our guests sake thats what has to happen. Jack wont care, he will have fun regardless.
Re: 47 degrees is way too cold right?
I think it's WAY too cold to have a party outside for LO. If it were an adult party, bon fire, etc., I think that would be fine in that case. I live in NH and it's been really chilly lately, with some exceptions. Even if it's not too cold temp. wise, the wind makes it freezing! If it were warmer I'd have DS's party outside but we just can't in Nov. in NH
DH was just asking me the other day why 70/ low 70s is so cold inside the house in the winter when in the summer it's so hot. Different seasons I guess beucase it's true. I am freezing at home lately with the heat set to 68/ 70 but all spring and summer I had the ac cranked non-stop. Then again, my hormones are still all over the place and I get hot flashes ever since I was pregnant.
Yes, definitely move it inside if you have a place to have it. Your guests will be way more comfortable and have a better time if they're not shivering. What about it won't be the same if it's inside instead of outside?
We went with a little cowboy/jamboree idea, which should be really cute, but we were going to have apple bobbing and other games that we really cant play inside. Oh well, planning it outside in November was a risk anyway!
