I still haven't felt anything thus far. My big u/s is tomorrow, so I'll feel better knowing everything is measuring fine. Who else didn't feel any movement at 18 weeks?
I think I have felt very sporadic movement... but I just found out on Friday that I have an anterior placenta, which is probably why I haven't felt much. I have had 5 ultrasounds now, and this is the first time they mentioned the anterior placenta.
Perfectly normal... I did not feel movement until 22 / 23 weeks. There were a lot of other ladies who also did not feel movement until this time.
While it is common to feel movement before that time period, it is also perfectly normal to not feel movement at 18 weeks. I also was diagnosed with an anterior placenta.
What time is your appt? I have an appt tomorrow (Tuesday) at 8:45am with Voutsos.
As for movement, I think it's normal that you haven't felt anything yet. I didn't feel anything until mid week 17, but I thought that was early. maybe when you have the u/s they'll be able to give you a better idea of how the baby is positioned and why you can or can't feel him/her.
remember to bring a VHS tape - your u/s will definitely be with Pam the u/s tech this time.

I didn't feel movement until around week 20. Do you know if you have an anterior placenta? If you have an anterior placenta it could explain why movement really hasn't been felt.
I didn't really start to feel much until last week, but they mentioned at my fetal echocardiogram just over a week ago that it's an danterior placenta, so that's prolly why.

Best of luck with your U/S!!
I'm so excited to hear about your u/s!

I have only had one u/s so far at 12 weeks so I don't know if I have an anterior placenta or not. I guess I'll find out tomorrow!
