I haven't tried it but sounds pretty kid friendly ...
Cresent Lasagna
1 pound ground beef
1 C of ready made spaghetti sauce
chopped onion - optional
1 cup of sour cream
1 1/2 cups shredded mozerella cheese
1 package (tube) cresent rolls
1/4 - 1/2 C parmasan cheese
2 - 3 T butter
Brown ground beef with onions (if you want onions). Drain. Return to pan and add spaghetti sauce. Stir to mix and simmer while you combine the sour cream and cheese. Spread beef mixture in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13" baking dish (a slightly smaller dish will work as well). Top with the cream cheese and cheese mixture. Open cresent rolls, but don't "break" apart just cover the top of the cheese with the rolls like a crust. Melt butter and add parmasan cheese and "sprinkle/spread" on top of rolls. Bake at 375? for 15 - 20 minutes until rolls are golden brown. Let set for 5 minutes before serving.
Cut the recipe in half and use an 8 x 8" pan. If you like more spaghetti sauce, just increase the amount you add to the beef. You can also increase the amount of ground beef. This taste very similar to lasagna but no cottage or ricotta cheese. And the butter taste of the rolls gives it a rich taste.
