Resources?

Sorry, because I'm sure this has been asked before, but my search function doesn't seem to work properly.

I'm undecided about natural birth versus epidural, and I am looking for online resources. I googled, but it's a bit difficult to sift through what's a good, factual source and what's just crap. And several of the articles that seem pretty decent are 10 years old. So if you can suggest resources (I'll even take blog links to natural birth stories, because I enjoy hearing personal stories about the matter, too), I would appreciate it.

Also, home birth is not an option for me because of my state's laws (unless I did an unassisted home birth, which I definitely do not plan to do).

    I know there are a lot of resources that I don't have on hand but you should watch "The Business of Being Born".

    Ditto the Business of Being Born movie... after going through a couple of pregnancies before watching the movie- it all started to make sense why my doctor did what he did when I saw the movie.  In my experience there are two elements of child birth- your mental state and your physical state.  If you can mentally prepare yourself to handle the pain, then you can get through it IF your body and the baby are cooperating.  I have had two really easy births, and my third was more challenging.  I have done all three without drugs or epi- all hospital births(the at home thing is not of interest).

    My favorite resource is Henci Goer's Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth. It's not online, but it really is the best book I read. It lays out all the interventions and states the pros and cons of using them. It is biased in favor of natural birth, but it does give a fair comparison.
