No. And I can't see a time he'll have it until he knows what it is and can ask for it. None of his friends have had it either whom in the playgroup that I've been in since he was 2 mo old. 7-8 kids. So, it's not like he's around it and the odd one out who can't have any. I guess we're all weird.
Everyone has their thing that's important to them.
Only what she licked after knawing through the paper. She was playing with the stuff in her halloween basket and when we realized she hit chocolate, we took it away. She doesn't know what she's missing and I'm okay with that.
ETA: Oh and for some reason I thought babies/toddlers weren't supposed to have chocolate. I was surprised when I saw on here that people were letting their kids have chocolate. I think I was confusing babies with dogs on this one.
G has the tiniest bit of chocolate last night, and she demolished her birthday cake a week ago.
When it comes to food I believe that almost everything is ok in moderation.

I think you'tr confusing a baby and a dog. I know our old dog got extremely ill the one time she got into a plate of chocolate cookies. The only foods my pedi warned me about were strawberries, nuts, hotdogs, popcorn, basically the stuff that they can choke on easily. And no peanut butter until 2, for allergy reasons.

I know, totally kidding. For some reason I had that in my head though and then I went wait a minute... kid... dog... totally different things.
No, just cake at her birthday. I do let her have vanilla ice cream whenever she's around her grandparents, maybe twice a month. I don't think candy's a big deal but she hates having her teeth brushed. I fight the good fight with her but I worry about whether or not I'm getting them brushed well enough (there are only three so far) so I don't want her to have candy b/c of the sugar on her teeth.
She chewed through the wrapper of a tootsie pop yesterday, I think that's the first actual taste of candy she's had. She's also had ice cream, cake, a bite of my costco churro and random other sweets.
I gave DS a bite of chocolate today, but that was the first time, since we never keep candy around the house. I don't think I'll do it often, though, because he was pointing and crying for more once I gave him that one bite. I don't have any issues with it, but he tends to get fixated on the "bad" stuff. My sister gave him ketchup for the first time a couple weeks ago when we were visiting and now he wants it as a main course!
DD had her first bite of a candy bar on Halloween. It was a 3 musketeer bar. She liked it. I don't plan on giving her any more until she can ask for it.
He put an entire chocolate kiss in his mouth on Halloween. I could not get it out. Someone brought a tray of treats and I was holding DS while she was walking in the house. DS reached for a kiss and put it right in his mouth only to spit it out a minute later.
No. He's never had cake either. Due to his texture issues he won't even consider eating either one so we don't push it. He's had cookies but not often. He actually prefers salty snacks like tortilla chips.
Of course she has. It's easier with the first kid to hold out longer on the sweets, but DD2 wants whatever she sees her older sister having. And since we're not ogres, we occasionally indulge her.

This. Ds had a small funsize Hershey bar this evening, just before his bath. He enjoyed it. I think all things can be fun in moderation.

We gave lollipops at 15mos when we were flying... for distraction and to help with air pressure going down.
Cake at their 1st b-day party.

DD#1- never had a bite until potty training. It worked out great for us. It was new, exciting and VERY motivating.
Twins- no.
Candy, no.
Ice cream? yes.
On Halloween DH and I took his candy and then gave him organic fruit snacks instead. He loved them and didn't know the difference.
i'm not going to give them candy until they ask for it.
i want them to think that fruit is the sweetest thing on earth.
He has had Pez from FIL (I was pretty upset about that one).
A) pure sugar
I've never given him candy and don't plan to for as long as possible.
