Natural Birth

s/o hospital policies

A post below made me think about this -  I had my second so fast, that I just had to give a verbal consent to my nurse for assistance in my delivery.  Then while I was nursing my son, I signed into labor and delivery!  Actually even with my first, my nurse stopped halfway through my admittance work to call my doctor to deliver the baby!

  • That's exactly how it went for me too. I think it's fairly common at the Midwifery Center where I delivered because they weren't phased at all by it. Since I had preregistered the nurse who met me in the hall as I sprinted (almost literally according to my midwife) in just asked for my SSN is all. It's a good thing because DD was born 11 minutes later.
