    Yeah, we are doing two sets. We are doing some in a couple weeks outside with the beautiful weather and pretty leaves. These we will be more likely to put up around the house. We are also doing some more personal ones with the bare belly and such about 35-36 weeks. Our photographer recommended waiting until that time frame to do bare belly because as she says "the fat is so spread out on your belly it doesn't look like you have any, but it doesn't look like it's all migrated to your face yet either." She did our wedding photos and I love her and her honesty!

    Considering it but really on the fence.  I like the idea of it, but honestly I don't want them if I'm not going to be looking cute that late in pregnancy and only time will tell haha.  Also, the prices seem to be ridiculously high for these so maybe I'll just save my money for newborn pics!

    I wasn't planning on it, but now I think I want to. I will wait till the first of Feb and do them at work. I want to paint my belly for some of them and dont want to get to crazy. It will be fun at work because there are a couple of us due around the same time, so we are going to do one of all of us:)

    I have mine booked for the beginning of January (I am due Feb 8th).  I figure we will order a few for us in frames and then we will be going to the same photographer for newborn photos :)

    Didn't get a chance to do professional ones with DS because I went on bedrest week 35 and planned on doing them closer to week 37-he was born 36 weeks 4 days. We did some DIY stuff and I'm happy I at least have those.

    Did them with my daughter around 36 weeks and I'm so happy we did. Yes I was huge and didn't feel super glamorous at the time, but I look back and I don't look like I felt that or she did some awesome photoshop Wink Doing them again with this one around 36 weeks.

    I dunno.  My mom really wants me to do it but to be honest, I don't find pregnancy all that attractive.  I also don't think of my belly as an "asset".  LOL  Now that I am in the moment they seem like a cute idea, but I try to think about them 5 years from now.  Will I really want 5 year old pregnancy pics around the house???  I am ALL about newborn pics.  I've already purchased her newborn outfit and found her photographer.  As for my maternity pics, I think I may take a few with our camera (a pretty decent one) and be done with it.

    I am definitely doing maternity photos, but they will be DIY -- I think the high prices of a photography studio aren't worth it if you have someone (like your husband or a good friend) with a photographic eye and a halfway decent camera. I'm planning on having a friend take pictures of my husband and I (similar to dolfingrlie's pics) and then have my husband do some "boudoir pregnancy" photos. We'll see how they turn out!

    My husband and my brother are both great amature photographers and will be taking mine. And my good friend is a professional henna artist and wants to henna by belly at least a time or two for her portfolio. Since I won't have to "book" any of them ahead of time, I'm going to play it by ear to see when I think will be best. I'm thinking maybe month 7ish. I want to be plenty big but not puffy, sweaty, swollen big. :-)

    I definitely am. I'm not gonna look like this every day so I want to capture it!  I was debating whether I wanted to do nice ones or just head over to Target or JCPenney.  I was planning on going nice for either maternity or newborn photos.  After looking at how newborn vs. maternity photos looked when comparing expensive vs. cheaper photos, there's only so much you can do with newborns so we'll do cheaper newborn photos & nice maternity ones.  DH & I haven't had any nice pictures taken since we were engaged like 8 years ago so it'll be an excuse to get some nice pics of us too. 

    I looked at Craig's List & found some not so ridiculously expensive photographers...but ones that cost a little more than going to the store.  I'm torn as to when to get them taken though.  I was hoping to maybe have them to give out at Xmas, but I'm afraid I won't be big enough by that time.

    Yes! My official appt date is Jan 11 but have already done one session because DH is leaving very soon.
