Jackson is cutting molars and he is an absolute mess. We have done Tylenol, frozen teething rings, Orajel, frozen wash cloths... I don't even know what else to do for him. His gums are bleeding where the teeth are cutting through.
I have never heard him scream like this before, he is shrieking and yanking on his ears (he has an ear infection and is on medicine). He won't let us put him down... I feel terrible.
Any advice you have or things that have worked for you would be great. This is a total post and run because I have to run down and relieve my sister of holding him. I'll be back and TIA!
Re: Give me some advice
Have you tried Motrin? Tylenol works okay for Carson during teething but motrin REALLY relieves him.
I hope Jackson starts feeling better. Maybe try a warm bath to distract him?
We had molars popping up right and left too! DD was a pain this wknd! A friend recomended these:

I got mine at Target for $3.99 in the baby section (where the diaper creams are). It was a fight to get them near DD bc she doesn't want us even touching her gums and she tried to spit it out and did seem even MORE mad that we put something in her mouth. But about 10 minutes later she FINALLY stopped crying and actually played with her toys....aww relief! Maybe it will work for you!
Also, I ut water on toothbrushes and freeze them. they work great because DD can get them exactly where she hurts, much better than teething rings.
Good luck!

Mortin is amazing!!
What a great idea with toothbrushes!!
Alright ladies. Thanks for the advice. I am going to shower then run out and get Motrin in case he wakes up screaming again.
He calmed down enough to eat dinner, then I gave him a warm bath, and rocked him to sleep (which he never lets me do)... so I will hope for the best. Fingers crossed.
Oh and I have those... they are great! I won't stick my finger in his mouth because he will bite me really hard... these things have been a godsend.
