The only things I get points for are taking my PNV's and DHA without fail, and drinking skim milk. My veggie intake sucks, my fast food intake is way too high, and I am feeling like a big failure.
YES!! I eat cereal with whole milk daily, right now I'm having lunch and it's the biggest freaking chicken parm sandwich you've ever seen (and I'm almost done w/the whole damn thing!)...I love chocolate and indulge daily....it's terrible!
I have been pretty good about staying away from fast food, but in the last three weeks, that's the only thing that sounds good. That AND mint ice cream. I gained 6 lbs in three weeks, so I need to taper it off a bit. I'm not eating nearly enough veggies, salads, etc and even my fruit intake is down.

I had been doing really well up until Halloween candy! Even prior to being pregnant, I am the one who is known for eating healthy amongst my family and friends. I usually stick to a variety of organic veggies and fruits and lean meats. Candy is the one unhealthy treat I allow myself and I usually don't over-indulge, but as of late I can't help myself. I
It's never too late to get back on track though. We can do it!
I swear you and I have the same appetite. I do well with breakfast when I have yogurt, oatmeal and/or granola but when it's time for lunch, all that gets thrown out the window. I try to have some kind of a veggie for dinner but that doesn't always work out either. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one!
I am very good about taking my PNVs...have not missed a day! I eat salads and am pretty good about veggies. BUT I also eat fast food and soda is my downfall.

After 2 miscarriages and many prayers, our angel is here:)
The only redeeming thing I can say for myself is that I eat a lot of fruit. Otherwise, I'm an embarrassment.
Good reminder that I need to take my PNV though, thanks!
This...I start the day off with the best of intentions. I have Kashi cereal with blueberries and then things go awry for lunch and dinner. But I do usually snack on fruit so that's the only good thing I can say for myself.
My diet is awful. I have good intentions and then everything goes downhill as soon as i see the taco bell sign.
BUT - good news for the fruit lovers. My OB told me that as long as I was eating fruit OR veggies it was good. She basically said either or and made me feel a whole lot better. Obviously you want to eat what you can but my fruit intake FAR outweighs my veggies. BLEH

I am okay with everything except fruit!!! It gives me horrible heartburn so I can't stand to even look at fruit. I totally hear you on the fast food though!
Re: Anyone else's diet suck as badly as mine?
I could have posted the same thing. Nothing sounds appetizing but fast food. Fruit is not my friend this pregnancy and I want some so bad.
So far today I have had a big glass of skim, a big glass of V8 Fusion, and.....four Pillsbury orange rolls. (lol).
Psyching myself up for a healthy dinner.

Good days and bad days. Trying overall to eat good.
I dont eat "bad" but seeing as though I have a mini-human growing inside me I could sure make more of an effort.

Yep - I take my PNV, drink a boatload of milk (can't get enough!), and that's about it...
Kit Kat's are a food group, right?
