Hi There,
Does anyone have a Graco Pack N Play with Bassinet? Do you like it? Below is the one we're considering, but there are so many other options and I have no clue what to get. All I know is that we need something with a changing table and that's a bassinet. I've noticed that some have something called a newborn napper, not sure what the difference is. Any advice would be great!
Re: Graco Pack N Play with Bassinet
We have this PNP. DD slept in it and was changed in it for the first few months of her life. We also used it as a travel crib and play yard. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some other PNP's, but it has held up really well and we'll be using it again with the new baby.

When it says Bassinet, that means the floor of the PnP can be raised up to mid-height. The newborn napper is a seperate piece that is slightly angled and contoured for a newborn.
We bought a Graco PnP (not the same one, but similar with a Newborn Napper). I don't know if the napper is totally necessary and you can't buy sheets for it. We'll probably only use that part for a few weeks, then remove it and have LO sleep on the bassinet part. The Graco PnP's were recommended by Baby Bargains, so we went with that.

I love our Graco Silhouette pnp. We kept DS in our room for the first 4.5 months so it got a lot of use. I think the newborn napper is unnecessary since the bassinet serves the same purpose. DS did great in the bassinet from day one and I think it makes for an easier crib transition. You'll probably be swaddling LO anyway so he or she will be plenty cozy.
The raised changer is great for your back and it is very sturdy. It never tipped, even when DS hit 15 lbs. FYI, it doesn't say so on the instructions but you can easily fit the bassinet in the storage bag.

I have that exact one.
I haven't used it though, since LO isn't here yet.
The bassinet is basically the same size as the bottom of the Pack N Play, just higher up. I think it's huge. I'm planning on keeping it in my family room and putting LO in it for naps during the day so that I don't have to keep going up and down stairs. If you do end up getting this, I'd recommend getting the quilted PNP sheet. I bought a regular one and it's SO cheap and thin. What a waste of $10. The quilted one is only $15 and is so much nicer.
