1st tri - related question...

hey ladies, I feel more comfortable asking here... I am currently without medical insurance but will be getting affordable coverage Dec. 1st. In the meantime I'd like to be taking prenatals. I've checked out a few online through Target's website, and my question is did anyone ever take (or if you're taking them now) a NON-prescription prenatal vitamin that was ok'd by your doc? I always got them through a prescription so I'm not sure if the ones that are OTC are any good? TIA!

My midwife said the Target brand was fine as long as I also took a DHA pill...GL!

My doc said any of the OTC ones are fine and they all basically have the same thing. I took the Women's one-a day's prenatal before I got a prescription.

Yes, my doctor said any of the OTC ones are fine. She recommended the ones with DHA, but other than that said it didn't really matter much.
