Granted I'm not in a very good mood to begin with but my husband is a class a dumbass this evening.
He's looking for jobs- as usual.
Finds one in Djibouti and starts telling me about it. I ask what it is he would be doing.
"Oh it's a help desk job."
Ummm what? Isn't help desk a thousand times lower (not lower per se but it is pretty far removed from what he does now and it would provide nothing in way of career advancement) than what you do?
"Yea but it would be a nice little break from it all."
Like I said, I'm already in a bad mood and all I could think of was he wants to traipse on over to Africa to have a nice little break from it all doing a job that would be like sorting apples (again- not that help desk is like sorting apples but comparably speaking) while I sit at home doing nothing while life is continuing to pass me by.
That might be a tad dramatic but still. I can not even imagine that he would even entertain it. And his choice of words really sent me over the edge.

Hopefully he was just feeling you out and only mildly entertaining the idea.

Yeah, I'd be upset, too. Hopefully it was just a passing thought that just didn't pass quite quick enough.
If not, I'll kick him in his Djibouti for you.

My first thought was a flavored donut. Don't ask.
