3 month growth spurt?

Oh...my...God!

DS has been crying/fussing all day long and the only thing that seems to soothe him is eating.  He's BF so I get that he needs to eat more often than a FF baby, but just last week he was going every 3 1/2 - 4 hours between feedings, now he's eating almost every 2 hours! 

I think another problem he's having is that he isn't napping during the day and he gets so overtired that he can't sleep.  So he's constantly tired and hungry.  I go back to work next week so I'm hoping this is just temporary.

Does this sound like a growth spurt or is this a new phase we'll be in for a while?

    The 3 mo growth spurt is a pretty big one.  At least it was for us.  Very little sleeping & tons of eating for about 8-10 days.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.
