Yesterday I was feeling kind off...a little shaky and just weird. Since DH and I were out shopping anyway I took my BP and it was 156/79. Mine is usually around 110s-120/70-80 so I called the nurses line. They said it's still in "acceptable range" but to take it easy and follow up with OB today.
I'm feeling better today, but still a little weird. I stopped and checked my BP again today and it was 141/79...definitely better than yesterday, but I still put a call in to my OB's office. I'm just waiting to hear back.
I feel I'm overracting a bit. I mean, I was just at the dr. on Friday and everything was fine and my BP was 118/72. At the same time I know how quickly things can turn around and I just want to make sure nothing happens to our LO. Am I being a crazy, paranoid woman??

this.
my Dr considers 160/80 to be in the lower range of dangerous and you were really close.
Do you have access to an automatic BP machine? I think you can get them at Walgreens. If you take it and its high, lay on your side for an hour. If it goes down, you're okay. This is what my OB's rule for me is.
Always trust your instincts, though. Especially if you're not feeling right.

This. I'd be concerned too, especially if you're swelling. Either way, I would have called.
Thanks ladies. I do have some swelling, but nothing more than usual.
I just heard back from my OB's office. I guess my dr. is out today. The nurse that I talked to said to lay low today and she's having me go in tomorrow morning to get my bp checked.
